Jeff Lisath is the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Chillicothe High School. In his first season he led the Lady Cavs to a Sectional and District Championship ( 2001-2002). During his second season (2002-2003) The Lady Cavs finished 13-9 for the first winning season since 1993, Jeff was named AP Southeast District Division I Coach of the year. This past season(2003-2004) The Lady Cavs finished at 15-6 (2nd place in the OCC) winning a Sectional Title for the second time in three years. Jeff was again named AP Southeast District Coach of the year as well as being named District 14 Division I & II Coach of the year by the District 14 Coaches Association. Jeff was twice named an All-Ohio basketball player at Portsmouth High school where he led the Trojans to a State Championship in 1978. Jeff was the tournament MVP and a member of the PHS Hall of Fame. Jeff attended college at Miami Ohio University where he lettered four years in basketball and was team captain and conference Defensive Player of the Year. Jeff went on to tryout for two NBA teams, the New Jersey Nets in 1982 and Washington Bullets in 1983. Jeff is the founder and CEO of Jeff Lisath's All-Ohio Summer Basketball Program where he directs camps, clinics, tournaments and summer leagues. Jeff started his coaching career at Columbus State Community College as Head Mens Coach where he led the Cougars to a 59-9 record over a three year period.Jeff then became an Assistant Coach at Portsmouth in 1988 where he won his second State Championship and were State Runners-up in 1990. Jeff became The Head Boys Basketball Coach at Unioto High School in 1998 where he led the Shermans to a 39-28 record in three years. Twice the Shermans finished in 2nd place in the SVC and won a Sectional Title. Jeff is a Deputy Warden at The Ross Correctional Institution, his wife Debra is a Teachers Aide for Ross County schools and Assistant Basketball Coach at Chillicothe High School. Jeff has Four daughters, Karly, Jourdan, Myah, Brailey, and one son Jeffrey. Jeff is also a Youth Minister for The Agape Center in Chillicothe.
